This blog is an informal collection of articles from FIRST! – the magazine of The Faith Mission. As these articles have previously been in print, it seemed apt to call the online version FIRST! Again.

About the Faith Mission
The Faith Mission is a non-denominational Christian organization whose aim is to preach the gospel and also to encourage Christians to live daily for Christ, purified and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
With a General Headquarters in Edinburgh, the work ranges across the UK and Ireland, with several District headquarters.
Our goal is to reach the lost of all age groups, particularly in villages and rural areas, and by biblical teaching to encourage holiness in the hearts and lives of Christians .
We have sister missions in other countries:
- South Africa – AEB
- France – Mission-Foi-Evangile)
- Canada – The Faith Mission (in Canada).
About FIRST! magazine
Starting at the end of the nineteenth century, the Faith Mission had a magazine with which to spread the teaching of the Bible and encourage Christians with news of God’s work throughout the Mission. At first called Bright Words, then later Life Indeed, the magazine’s most recent title is FIRST!
This reflects one of the mottos of The Faith Mission: “Seek first God’s kingdom and his righteousness” (Matthew 6:33). Because this was not a mere suggestion given by Christ, but an imperative, the exclamation mark was added to the title.
